How do I book?
New clients: tap Join the pack and fill in the waitlist form. We'll be in touch as soon as a spot opens up, and we'll organise your first visit with you directly.
Existing clients: we book your next groom with you before you leave, so your spot is always saved. If you need to change or cancel, you can do it online, or just text us on 0410 244 714. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice.
Where are you, and how do I find you?
Beneath the giant fig trees at Garden Mania, 19 Lindsays Rd, Boambee. Park at The Secret Garden, stroll through The Cotton Shed boutique and nursery, and follow your paws to the back.
Do you take all breeds and sizes?
Yes. We care more about fit than breed or size, which is why the intake form asks so much about your dog.
How long does a groom take?
As long as it needs to. It depends on size, coat and temperament, which is why we only take a limited number of dogs each day.
Can I stay during the groom?
Generally no, because most dogs are calmer without their people there. For puppies and very anxious dogs, we can talk about what works best.
Do you groom senior, anxious or reactive dogs?
Seniors get extra-gentle handling, more breaks and all the patience in the world. Let us know about mobility, arthritis or health concerns.
We're happy to work patiently with anxious or nervous dogs. If your dog has a history of aggression during grooming, let's talk first. We may decline service if safety is a concern. It's never personal.
What's your cancellation policy?
24+ hours' notice: your 30% deposit is refunded or moved to your new appointment. Text or call 0410 244 714.
Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: the deposit is forfeited, and no-shows may affect future bookings.
What if my dog has fleas?
We can't groom dogs with fleas, to protect the salon and other clients. If we find fleas at check-in, we'll need to reschedule and the deposit is forfeited.
What if my dog is matted?
Dematting is charged at $20 per 15 minutes, up to 30 minutes. For severe matting, a coat reset (a short pre-clip under the matting) is kinder, and we'll always talk to you before making that call. If dematting is distressing your dog, we'll stop and recommend a shave.
What if something happens during the groom?
We take every precaution, but small nicks can happen, especially with matting. If you notice anything, let us know within 24 hours so we can help.
Do you offer mobile grooming?
No, we're salon-only. The space and the calm are part of the experience, and the drive to Garden Mania is worth it.
